Fundació per a la Recerca Sant Joan de Déu

The Fundació Privada per a la Recerca Sant Joan de Déu is an entity created in 2002 to cover the research activity that is carried out, both in the biomedical and social sphere, at the Maternal and Infantile Hospital of Esplugues, in the Parc Sanitari de Sant Boi de Llobregat and in other centers of the Hospital Order San Juan de Dios - Province of Aragon San Rafael.

Job description

We are looking for a person to join the Research Management of International projects team. The mission of this team is to manage and ensure the correct execution of the entity’s research and innovation projects funded from European or international grants.

 

The person will be in charge of managing research and innovation projects mainly funded with competitive grants from the European Commission (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, ERASMUS +, EIT Health, among others). She/he will be responsible of budget planning, monitoring the implementation of projects and ensuring compliance with legal and funding body regulations.

 

The projects will be mainly in the field of Mental Health, and led by the research groups of Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu.  

 

Job Description

  • Work directly with the PI and with Funding Institution of the managed projects.
  • Planning, monitoring and economic justification of international projects.
  • Budget planning at group level, considering all international funded projects.
  • Review and negotiation of Grant Agreement and Consortium Agreement.
  • Review and negotiation of other types of agreements, such as Third Party or Subcontract agreements.
  • Assuring compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
  • Assuring adequate use of resources.
  • Attendance at conferences, information sessions and meetings of interest.
  • Participation in networks, working groups of interest.

Requirements

 

Requirements of the candidates

  • Higher education in Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing research grants funded from the European Commission.
  • Professional English

Added value:

  • Experience in the Health sector.
  • Experience managing coordinated projects will be valued.
  • Experience in transversal issues such us: ethical/regulatory, IPR, Data management,

  • Critical thinking and constructive attitude, oriented to problem solving.
