The Fundació Privada per a la Recerca Sant Joan de Déu is an entity created in 2002 to cover the research activity that is carried out, both in the biomedical and social sphere, at the Maternal and Infantile Hospital of Esplugues, in the Parc Sanitari de Sant Boi de Llobregat and in other centers of the Hospital Order San Juan de Dios - Province of Aragon San Rafael.

Job description

Sant Joan de Déu Research Foundation runs about 40 active international research and innovation projects (mainly from the European Commission) for two worldwide renowned institutions: Barcelona Children’s Hospital Sant Joan de Déu and Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu (general hospital and mental health centre).

Sant Joan de Déu Research Foundation is hiring a Social Innovation Project Manager to be part of the implementation of SJD social innovation projects.

In addition to this, this position will be supporting the SJD Social Innovation Programme to define the social innovation WP of National and European projects (programme CERV - Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values, DG EAC - Employment, social affairs and inclusion, DG JUSTICE, ERASMUS+, etc.).

We are calling for candidates with a background in Knowledge management & development/ Social Innovation field. Experience in project management would be an asset.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Project management activities related to daily projects work
  • Data management plan coordination
  • Dynamization and coordination of project’s co-creation activities
  • Definition and implementation of capacity building workshops and trainings
  • Fostering the knowledge management activities related to project’s activities, outputs and outcomes
  • Conducting project’s evaluation and monitoring activities
  • Standardization of products/processes/ and learning experiences produced
  • Communication & dissemination strategy definition and implementation
  • Social awareness raising strategy definition and implementation

Requirements

 

  • University degree (preferably in Social Sciences, Engineering or Business Administration)
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in social innovation field and/or monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Proven experience in dealing with knowledge management activities (such as documenting lessons learned and developing knowledge management outputs, learning process evaluations, identification of indicators for reaching successful outputs …)
  • Knowledge of transversal tools and methodologies of co-creationdynamics, design- thinking, data management…
  • Familiarity with EU funded projects and project management
  • Strong organization and time management skills, prioritise and organise project workload and meet time-critical schedules
  • Good communication skills
  • English proficiency
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of people, mainly with children and education sector
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Required languages: English and Spanish advanced level written and spoken
