La Fundació Privada per a la Recerca Sant Joan de Déu  es una entidad creada en 2002 para dar cobertura a la actividad de investigación que se realiza, tanto en el ámbito biomédico como en el social, en el Hospital Maternoinfantil de Esplugues, en el Parc Sanitari de Sant Boi de Llobregat y en otros centros de la Orden Hospitalaria San Juan de Dios - Provincia de Aragón San Rafael.

Descripción de la oferta

We seek a highly motivated, self-driven and committed person with previous experience in International project management to join the International Projects Office team. The candidate will assist Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu (PSSJD) researchers in obtaining and managing International competitive funds for research and innovation related activities. This position is focused on both pre award and post award activities of mainly European Commission calls, ranging from Horizon2020, Third-Health Programme, Erasmus+, EIT Health, among others, but also including other non- EU sources of funding such as US-NIH. We are calling for candidates with a background in management or science, although proven knowledge in both areas will be considered favourable.

Key role/responsibilities:

The candidate will be in charge of giving support to a specific number of research groups at PSSJD, mainly working in the mental health area, with the objective to maximize funding opportunities while ensuring adequate management of the resources obtained. She/he will be integrated in the International Project Office and supervised by the current responsible person of pre and post award.

Specific responsibilities:

Pre-Award- related:

  • Pro-active identification, analysis and dissemination of European and International funding opportunities. Provide advice on the different funding schemes.
  • Attendance to Infodays, partnering and matchmaking events, information sessions, among others.
  • Analysis of future programmes, identify lobby opportunities.
  • Identification of networks, actions and initiatives that may represent a strategic opportunity both for the Institution and for the research groups.
  • Identify potential ideas/interests inside PSSJD suitable to be converted in competitive proposals.
  • Professional support during proposals writing and preparation (definition of project goals, coordination with project partners, preparation of budget, advising on implementation and impact of the project, on ethical and gender issues, among others).

Post-Award-related:

  • In charge of a portfolio of International projects.
  • Grant agreement and Consortium agreement negotiation.
  • Monitoring legal, financial and administrative issues of post award international projects, at institutional level.
  • Budget planning, follow up and financial justification of European projects (H2020, EIT Health, ERASMUS+…).
  • Communication with funding institutions/agencies.
  • Monitoring relation with auditors (CFS) and follow up of audit process.

Requisitos

Requirements for candidates:

  • University degree preferably in the Health Sciences or Business Administration. PhD will be valuable.
  • 3 years of experience in supporting grant applications writing and revising project.
  • 3 years of experience in European project management (administrative, legal and economic level). Experience managing research projects in the field of health will be valuable.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of main rules and regulations affecting European Projects: financial, legal and administrative aspects. Knowledge in data protection regulation and ethical issues will be valuable.
  • Availability for travelling locally and abroad.
  • Required languages: Advanced level of written and spoken English is mandatory.

  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and thorough attention to detail.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
